Kyle & Aubree's Story

Our love story: We met at 19 on a wake boarding trip with our church college group. I loved the way he made me laugh and thought he was cute. After hanging out with a group of friends once we had returned from the trip he told me that he was looking for the girl he was going to marry, he didn't want to just date around. Somehow that didn't scare me off. We got to know each other and hung out a lot for a month, he wrote me a song one night that he played on his guitar and asked me to be his girlfriend. We had our first kiss. That was October 12, 2006. He told me after a few weeks of dating me that he knew he was going to marry me. I asked him if it was too soon to know that....about a week later I told him I knew we would get married one day too. We grew together, and strengthened our relationship as we went to college, worked our jobs and time went by. On August 23, 2008 while at the beach, Kyle proposed to me in a cave and gave me a gorgeous ring. We were both so excited. We spent the next year planning our special day and saving money. September 26, 2009, 106 degrees outside, with flowers wilting and wedding guests sweating we had our amazing wedding. (don't  worry, it cooled down by the time the ceremony ended) We said "I do" and danced and celebrated with our loved ones at our side. 4 years later, 4 moves (twice to one of our parents houses), lots of being "poor", going through jobs, buying cars, saving money, achieving goals, setting new ones, dreaming, having Harper-we have grown closer, loved each other greater and look forward to the many more adventures to come.
